Activated Charcoal:
The production of activated charcoal makes it extremely absorbent, aids in odour reduction and airflow.

Activated charcoal is made by heating carbon-rich materials like wood, sawdust, coconut shells to high temperatures. This “activation” strips any previously absorbed molecules and frees up the bonding ability again. It also reduces the pores in the charcoal but makes more holes in each molecule making the surface area larger thereby aiding in better airflow and enhanced breathability.

The carbon fibres from the charcoal produce negative ions which are also known to improve sleep quality. They help to fall asleep easier and quicker and maintain sleep for longer.

Charcoal neutralizes odour and prevents the growth of bacteria.
